free time in the center of Jerusalem (Rachel, Shemer, Bialik and
Shvilim), or to the newly rebuilt Mamilla neighborhood (Amichai,
Senesh, Agnon).
Tonight is the night everyone has been waiting for- Erev Kishronot,
the Seminar Talent Show. There will be 12 acts from among all of
the groups. Past experience has shown us that this will prove to be
a very fun and enjoyable evening. It will be a great way for all the
kvutzot to get together before heading out tomorrow for Hosh
Shabbat. For those who are staying at the hava Shabbat will be a
great experience with Rabbi Ed and some of the staff.

hi Rabbi Ed,
Thanks for everything this week. I thought you did a great job with the conference call —
you answered all the questions with a great deal of clarity and I’m certain you reassured
a lot of parents who had been worried. Tom and I continue to be excited for the Noam
and thrilled that he’s there. He loved leading the origami table at the children’s fair.
Speaking of being there, I assume you know that his plans for Shabbat fell through — not
because of the security situation, but because our dear friends the Ben Davids have a
health situation. Sara told me they’ve known you for years — is it through their friend
Debbie Cooper? — so I assume you heard that Aryeh is having angioplasty on Sunday
morning. Please include him in your prayers.
Have a shabbat Shalom with Noam and Sophie (and all the others) at the Cava! He is
blessed to be in Israel at this important time.
Thanks again,
Shawn
