Zombies

Archeologists have unearthed many ancient graves that have bodies pinned down by rocks and other heavy materials. In Haiti, zombie folklore has been around for many years, most likely originating in the 17th century. West African slaves were brought into Haiti’s sugar plantations and a zombie represented the brutal life slaves were forced to live. There have also been real world “zombies” that have been reported in the medical field too you know? Crazy right, even though it is rare, there are credible medical reports of real people who were pronounced dead, buried and then reappear time after their “death”. Like the story of Clairvius Narcisse, a Hatian man who went into a hospital in 1962 with respiratory problems and after slipping into a coma, he was pronounced dead and buried. 18 years later a man walks up to Angelina Narcisse insisting she was his sister. Doctors, family and community members all identified him as Calirvius Narcisse, he claimed to be buried and later dug up to be put to work on a sugar plantation. It’s stories like this that keep the zombie alive.

Many tv shows and movies have centered their content on uninfected humans trying to survive the “walking dead”. Speaking of zombies are the main characters in tv shows like the walking dead, and even movies like warm bodies. Where do these sick dead humans come from though? even if they are fake.
