OFFICERS CODE OF CONDUCT OATH

As a National Board or Chapter officer:
1. I will devote time, thought, and study to my duties as a brother and leader of the National or Chapter Board of

2. I will carefully prepare for, regularly attend, and actively participate in National or Chapter meetings and
committee assignments.
3. I will accept and abide by the legal and fiscal responsibilities of the National & Chapter Board as specified in
federal and state law and the regulations, rules of procedure, standing orders, and resolutions of the National
Board.
4. I will base my vote upon all information available in each situation and shall exercise my best judgment in
making decisions that affect the course of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc.
5. I will vote according to my individual conviction and may constructively challenge the judgment of others when
necessary; yet I will be willing to support the majority decision of the brotherhood and WILL work with fellow
officers in a spirit of cooperation.
6. I will maintain the confidential nature of Board deliberations in closed session. This includes written and verbal
communication concerning the closed session. A National or Chapter Officer shall avoid acting as
spokesperson for the National Fraternity unle
