Bates Street Redevelopment
Manhattan Building Company has proposed constructing
more than 2,300 apartments on a nine-acre redevelopment
site along Bates Street near the New Jersey Turnpike
Extension. The original proposal called for the apartments
to be housed in four towers ranging from 23 to 50 stories.
However, the redevelopment plan could potentially be
revised following local community feedback.
