were drawn to support these beautiful souls, family of officers and family of origin, wanting to do all we could to foster healing and faith. The Waldwick police officers, and the
community that loves them, are an example of how life
should be. Chris Goodell's family and loved ones are examples of all that is good and loving. And as I drove away from
our last critical incident response today, a song on the radio
seemed to perfectly capture Chris's life of service. The song
is entitled “Let Them See You In Me” and although it is a
Christian song about God, the lyrics explain: I give my life an
offering, take it all, take everything. Let them see you in me, let
them hear you when I speak, let them see you in me. Maybe
every place could be like Waldwick if we recognize the opportunity for grace in service. d
