When we started Cop 2 Cop 17 years ago, I could not get a patch
from a department for my banner we bring to the Darkness Walk
to remember them every year. Cop 2 Cop was also identified as a
Best Practice in Peer Support in the U.S. by the Department of
Defense as its model for military suicide prevention peer programs. So there is some progress.
