Bennett Is Their Man
Corrections leaders support PBA candidate
When the call went out to the NJ State PBA Executive Board members
following a meeting a few months ago that the organization was looking
for a candidate to run in the PFRS Trustee Election, Rich Brown knew
just where to look.
“I actually was the one who went to Keith to get him to think about
running,” said Brown, the Monmouth County Corrections Local 240
Delegate about seeking out Keith Bennett to run for PFRS Trustee. “He
truly understands all of law enforcement from the Corrections Officers
to the Sheriff’s Officers to the Beat Cop.”
Brown, who is also the co-chairman of the PBA State Corrections
Committee, has also invited Bennett to his next committee meeting.
“Not because I think he needs to get a better understanding of our issues
