Ingredients:
1 kg steak fillets sliced
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
3 tablespoon white vinegar
1 ½ teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 ½ teaspoon salt
Sauce:
3-4 tablespoon oil (add
extra if needed)
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon black pepper
Method:
Marinate the steak fillets in the above ingredients for two
hours. Then place in a wide dish and add 1 ½ cups of water.ok
for 45 min on med/low gas. Once cooked and tender, remove
the slices of steak but keep the remaining stock.
Method:
In a pan heat oil and lightly fry the steak slices for few minutes.
Once all the steak is fried in the same pan make sure there’s
at least two tablespoon of oil remaining, if there isn’t add more
oil as you will need to create the sauce. Then add the chilli
flake, lemon juice, black pepper and sizzle. Pour the remaining
stock from marinate in the pan and cook for a few minutes.
(The left over stock from previous pot will create the gravy).
Put the steak sliced back in the pan and coat all the sauce
over them.
Garnish:
1 sliced pepper (into rings)
1 small sliced onion (into r ings)
Place the sliced onions and peppers over the pan of steak and
grill for 5 minutes.
Serve the steak on a hot platter with rice, chips, and a fried
egg.
