WAIKATO TRADES ACADEMY SUCCESS
How many students can say that they demonstrate the following traits:
?
?
?
?
?
Have a passion for any of the trades areas - automotive, electrical or engineering
Are punctual and have an excellent attendance record
Are reliable and hardworking
Have a willingness to complete sets tasks
Works well individually and also as part of a team
We would like to acknowledge Hamish Mitchell who has demonstrated his prowess in all these areas. This year Hamish has been making
an Electronic Arm. He has shown the WINTEC staff and fellow students that all of the above traits reap the rewards. Hamish has come
away from his second year attaining the accolade of being the top Electrical student in the Year Two Waikato Trades Academy programme
and was rewarded with a new laptop computer. We would also like to acknowledge both Rudiger Thompson Smith and Shawn Beckham
Mansell who were able to meet challenges with fortitude and complete their second year of the programme successfully. Both Shawn and
Rudiger have been working hard to complete the first portion of their build of an all-terrain vehicle. Our Year One Waikato Trades Academy students are attending their last section of their course in which they will complete the construction of their motorcycles. We are
looking forward to viewing their final products in action.
