Year 9 Camp

As part of our Waikato
River Study, the year 9’s headed
to the Narrows Camp (near
Hamilton Airport) from Monday
11th to Wednesday 13th April
(Week 11).
A total of 73 students
attended, accompanied by our
awesome Peer Support leaders
(Yr 13’s) and six year 9 staff.
The aim of the camp was
to allow students to build
relationships, take responsible
risks during the adventure based
learning activities alongside our
peer support leaders and work
together to paddle from the
Narrows to Ngaruawahia by waka
ama and waka tete.
