The flight to Los Angeles was 47 minutes
long and the passengers were supplied with a
brown-bag meal as they boarded.
A 56-seater bus (with ‘our’ name on it) took
the group to the Holiday Inn at Buena Park, only

to find that they were not booked in until the
following night, so the neighbouring Handford
Hotel took charge and filled the gap for free,
along with a free breakfast. Denny’s was the
location for tea. Curfew set at 11pm while in L.A.
