Student Reflection 

I felt that the catering we did for 
Manu Korero went extremely well. Our 
team  worked  really  well  together  and 
handled  the  pressure  amazingly.  I  feel 
that  I  stepped  up  to  the  challenge  and 
coped well.   

Being  a  leader  to  the  Year  10s 
and Year 11s was quite enjoyable and I 
not  only  learned  a  lot  about  cooking 
and  leadership,  I  also  learned  a  lot 
about time management.  

I  completely  enjoyed  the  day, 
from  the  cutting  of  slices  of  meat  for 
the  sandwiches  to  the  making  of  the 
fish dish (that I had never made before).  

This was all a new experience for 
me that I loved, and cannot wait to do it 
again.

I really enjoyed helping with the 
catering  for  the  Manu  Korero  on 
Saturday. We all worked well and it was 
well planned throughout. 

Things  ran  quite  smoothly  and 
our small group worked extremely well 
together.  We  all  approached  the  tasks 
enthusiastically  and  finished  the  day 
very tired.
