Applying for free or reduced meals
Applying online is easy ! Go to ahschools . us / freereduced , set up an account and complete the application . It will take about five minutes . After your application is processed , CNP will mail you a letter indicating if it was approved or denied . If denied , you will be paying full price and will need to have money in the students ’ accounts to purchase meals .
Each school year , the State of Minnesota sends the district information , indicating if a student is approved for free meals . If you did not receive a letter stating that your student was automatically approved for free meals you will need to fill out an application .
Regardless of your past eligibility a new application needs to be completed each school year .
