y6 paris trip

At the end of the Spring Term, 47 of our Year 6 pupils visited Paris on a 5 day excursion and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The children were extremely well behaved and were a credit to our academy, their parents and themselves. Staff were particularly impressed with the tidiness of the children's rooms and the way that they all got on so well together.

During the visit the children experienced many of the traditional Parisienne tourist sites, the highlight of which was climbing the stairs to the second stage of the Eiffel Tower! The children also spent a whole day at Disneyland, going on some of the rides and seeing the fabulous parade.

This annual visit is of course well established in the school calendar and represents our commitment to providing our pupils with a range of experiences for their enjoyment and personal development. We are pleased to report that a booking for our current Year 5 pupils has been secured for March 2020 and know that many will take up this fabulous opportunity.

attendance

Well done to 4JG, the class who achieved the highest attendance over the Spring Term at an amazing 99.2%! As a reward, the class will spend an afternoon of fun at Hednesford Park.

Regular attendance at school is crucial to ensure that your child has full access to the school curriculum and to enable them to fully reach their potential.

morning drop offs

Can we please remind parents that children should be dropped off at school between 8:45-8:55am.

We provide a Breakfast Club facility for any parents who need to drop children off before 8:45am, which can be booked through the Academy website or alternatively through the school office.
