Online Safety
We all know the benefits of living in a technologically rich world and these are many. However, there are also a number of risks which we all need to be aware of. We would like to remind parents that some information to help protect our children online, can be found on the academy website under the E- Safety tab.
Additionally, some useful parent guides can be found on the UK Safer Internet Website
Some key messages are to talk to your child about what they're up to online, to keep all equipment that connects to the internet in a family space and to encourage your child to talk to someone they trust if they feel worried or upset by something that happens online.
Comic Relief
On Friday 15th March we will again be supporting Comic Relief. On this day, we invite all children to wear something red and ask them to donate £1 for not being in their school uniform. In return, we will be holding a number of special events in school for the children to participate in and enjoy.
All of the money donated will be given to the charity and we hope that all of the children will support the event.
Parents Evening
Please be aware that online bookings for Spring Term Parents Evening will open on Monday 4th March at 7pm. All parents will need to make their bookings online.
