Thank you to everyone who sent a book into St. John’s in response to our book swap appeal for World Book Day.
The book swap appeared to go well and we hope the children enjoyed it.
You may have seen on our twitter feed a wide variety of special features that were used on this day to promote a love of reading.
These included a designated 10 minute period where everyone in the academy stopped what they were doing and read a book. There were lots of other activities that replaced normal lessons during the day.
We hope the children get chance to use their £1 book voucher and choose a book.
