Welcome back!
Welcome back to the new school year! It is my first newsletter as Headteacher of St John’s and I look forward to getting to know the children and their families over the coming weeks and months.
I hope the children enjoyed the summer break and are ready for another busy and successful year. I would like to welcome new families who have joined St John’s this September. The boys and girls in Nursery and Reception have made a very positive start, and I am sure they will settle into our school very quickly.
The school has been a hive of activity over the summer break with the teaching staff busily preparing exciting, stimulating classrooms, and learning opportunities for their new classes.
I would like to re-affirm that all staff at St John’s are committed to providing the best education we can for your children. With our strong, committed team, our delightful pupils and the support of parents and families, I am confident that St John’s will continue to go from strength to strength.

We are delighted to welcome some new members of staff: Miss Emma Collins in Reception, Miss Sophie Lockley and Mrs Claire Edwards in Y1 and Miss Laura Burke, who will be teaching in a number of classes. They have all made a great start as part of the St John's team and the children have made them very welcome.
