School Photographer
This year’s Harvest Festival will take place on the morning of Thursday October 12th at St. John’s Church. There will again be three separate services held during the morning and the programme is detailed below.

Our Choir will be performing one song at each of the services.
Each year it becomes increasingly difficult to accommodate all our pupils and those parents who wish to attend. Often parents and children can find themselves very over-crowded and this can of course have a negative impact upon what should be a nice experience.
To try and alleviate some of the pressure on the available space in the church our 86 Year 6 children will hold a separate service in school with Reverend Wendy on a different date which has yet to be agreed.
Parent & Toddler Group
Little Munchkins the Parent and Toddler group based at Essington Community Centre would like to make you aware of their meetings each Wednesday from 1.30 – 3.00 pm. The sessions are from birth upwards and admission is £1 per child, with children under 4 months attending free of charge. Free refreshments are available.

Maternity Leave
On Friday 6th October Miss Curran will be starting her maternity leave. We all wish Miss Curran well for the forthcoming birth of her child.
This term the school photographer will be visiting St. John’s on the dates below. We will be following the same programme as last year with the photographer in our academy for two days to allow enough time to take photographs of all our pupils and family groups.
