Christmas Dinner

Girls Football

On Friday December 9th we will be serving a special Christmas lunch to all our pupils with the exception of Year 6 who are away on a residential trip next week. This is extremely popular with the children and many of those who normally bring sandwiches to school have a Christmas dinner.

If your child does normally bring sandwiches I would be grateful if you could indicate on the online form that you would like to order a special Christmas Dinner on the December 9th. This will ensure enough meals are prepared. The form can be found on the lunch menu page under the parents heading of our website. Please submit your request as soon as possible. Meals cost £2. If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they are of course entitled to a free meal.

Year 6 will have their Christmas Meal on Wednesday 14th December when they have returned from Shugborough.

Parking

With the Christmas Fayre approaching as well as a number of Key Stage 1 Christmas shows can I ask that parents parking in the immediate vicinity on Hobnock Road and Bognop Road are considerate of residents and do not block access to their properties.

The bus lay by will generally be open at these times to alleviate the congestion. Thank you for your co-operation.

Our Girls’ football team enjoyed more success recently when they competed at St. George's Park in Burton, the home of the English Football Teams. The girls reached the final of the competition without conceeding a goal.

The final finished 0 - 0 at full time and unfortunately we lost on penalties.

All the girls were gracious in defeat and were a credit to the academy as always!
