I am pleased to give advance notice of the class assemblies to which parents are invited. Assemblies start at 9.10 am and last for approximately 30 minutes.
All parents of the children in each class are welcome to attend. Reminder invitations are sent out nearer the date. These are always most enjoyable occasions; the staff and the children put in a lot of preparation and take a great deal of pleasure in performing for their parents.

class assemblies
We are very fortunate to be able to offer a wide range of after-school clubs.
This is thanks to the generosity of the school staff who offer their time when teaching time is finished, to provide additional sport, arts and learning opportunities for our pupils.
We have an expectation that if children have signed up for a club then they should commit to attending every week at least up until the end of the half term; if they wish to relinquish their place we ask parents to inform the teacher in charge in writing, so that their child is taken off the register, and their place can be offered to someone else.
There may be occasions when parents need to collect their child at the end of the day rather than 4.30pm; in these instances, we request that parents inform the school office so that staff can be sure that all children are accounted for at the end of the day.
I am sure that parents will appreciate that this will help us to fulfil our safeguarding duties.
After-school clubs
christmas lunch
This year our Festive Christmas lunch will be held on Thursday 19th December. All children will have the option to enjoy either a Turkey or Nut Roast dinner with a selection of seasonal sides. Dinners are priced at £2 per child and can be paid for using SIMS Pay, at the Post Office or Paypoint.
To ensure we have sufficient produce for all the children who require a Christmas Dinner, we would kindly ask that ALL parents take a moment to complete the
online form which can be found on our website now. It is important that ALL parents complete the form for any child that requires a hot dinner on this day. Any child who will be bringing a packed lunch does not need to complete the form.
The deadline for the form to be completed is Thursday 12th December @12pm. We thank you in advance for your support in completing this information.
