Year 5/6 Football
The year 5/6 football team continued their successful start to the season by defeating Glenthorne Primary School 5-0 in an away fixture last week.
The boys are doing extremely well and look a formidable team this year. On our Youtube channel there are brief highlights of this match for you to enjoy.

Sports Leaders
Year 6 pupils were recently invited to apply for the role of Sports Leader within the academy. The process of application and interview aims to provide valuable development opportunities for the pupils and lead to them becoming more responsible individuals The successful applicants will now help support sport and work with younger pupils.
The process highlighted the amount of talented and conscientious pupils we have in year 6 and we will therefore be looking to create other special roles next half term to help develop their skills and recognise their commitment to St. John’s
Pudsey Bear
Pudsey Bear has today visited our younger pupils as part pf our preparations for the Children in Need Appeal. This year we will be supporting this charity on Friday 24th November.
