children in need
The annual Children in Need appeal takes place this Friday 15th November. As it is an Inset Day, we will be taking part in this event on Friday 22nd November.
We are inviting pupils to come to school on that day in non-uniform, for a donation of £1, which will go to the appeal. Children are welcome to wear their Pudsey or Blush ears, or to wear something spotty if they would like.
During the day, we will find out some of the ways in which Children in Need helps children and families. Thank you for your support!
parent governor elections
Following the recent Parent Governor election, we are pleased to announce that our two new Parent Governors are Emma Dodd and Sean Flynn. Thank you to all the candidates who put themselves forward, and to all the parents who participated by voting.
Mrs barber
During the half term holiday Mrs Barber gave birth to her baby, a girl,called Nola Jade.
We all wish Mrs Barber and Mr Barber our congratulations and best wishes on this lovely news.
class pages
We've added a new feature to our website called class pages where you the parent are able to see what your child is doing in the classroom. Information about their current topic, P.E days, spelling and reading days are included.
Click on the Class pages link under 'the academy' heading on our website to find your child's year group.
Poppy sales
Once again we'd like to thank you for your continued support as we've managed to raise £819.28 through the sales of the Poppy merchandise.
As always the parents of our children have gone above and beyond in supporting these well worth causes.
Thank you for your support!
