Key Stage 1 - Christmas Productions
Dear Parent/Carers,
Please find below a list of the forthcoming Key Stage 1 Christmas production dates.
Reception | A little bird told me | Friday 6th December 10:45-11:15 & 2:00-2:30
Year 2 | Lights, camel, action | Thursday 12th December 10:45-11:15 & 2:00-2:30
Year 1 | Everyone loves a baby | Tuesday 10th December 10:45-11:15 & 2:00-2:30
Nursery | Happy Birthday Jesus | Tuesday 17th December 10:45-11:15 & 2:30-3.00
I am sure you can appreciate that the organisation of such large productions does present us with a number of challenges, and therefore we hope you can support us with a number of the points highlighted below.
• As usual, we will not be operating a ticketing or charging system as we are committed to allowing all parents and grandparents the opportunity to see the plays. We would however like to particularly request that parents do not attend both performances of their child’s show as this may cause us to exceed our admission safety limits. We are confident that we are able to accommodate everyone who wants to attend if parents and grandparents only see their child perform once.
• Entry into the school building for parents will be available 20 minutes before the show starts via the Year 1 entrance door.
• We are of course aware that because the performances take part during the school day many parents have to take time off from work and this may involve them arriving at different times to other family members. In the interests of fairness we would ask that no more than one seat is reserved in these circumstances.
• We would also like to remind parents to park considerately and avoid blocking access to local residents’ properties.
Our Academy continues to offer a large number of shows for parents to attend and enjoy seeing their children perform. The eight performances are a fabulous feature at this special time of year and we are committed to maintaining this tradition. We hope that all parents understand our approach and support us with our requests so that everyone can have the chance to enjoy the shows and collect some wonderful memories.
