This year, 133 innovative teams are advancing to the next stage of the Global Innovation Challenge competition with the ultimate goal of pitching their products to a live and virtual audience at the 2014 Innovation Summit.
Five of those teams are part of the Senior CEMS research class. Selected from a pool of 385 entries from 450 schools around the world, the following teams are among the semifinalist teams advancing to the next round: The Retractables; Lean on Me; The Postmasters; Two Temp; and The Turbines.
Over the next seven weeks, the teams will develop extensive business and technical plans as well as marketing videos and graphic representations of their products and services. During this phase of the challenge, teams can seek guidance from a network of virtual mentors who are worldrenowned scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
