Contributors to Success Meet Daniel cont... 3. Describe your main responsibilities at FTIAS? I’m currently responsible for reviewing high complex issues and addressing them accordingly, supporting my superiors on operational duties, and assisting junior staff on daily tasks, whilst meeting payment processing deadlines. a) What do you enjoy the most? Being challenged with a new task is something I always look forward to in order to increase my knowledge and enhance my profile. Given that Meeting Point North America is a relatively new responsibility, it’s our priority to come up with new and improved procedures. (That leaves no time for dull moments, yet loads for CAFFEINE ). I also enjoy knowledge sharing with old and new colleagues, not necessarily work related but also on personal experiences. b) Most difficult aspect of your job? Difficulties mastered are opportunities won. A task is only difficult if you make it so. I would say that the challenging bit is prioritising between various deadlines whilst having to reach other background targets. Someone once said to me that the best things in life are often waiting at the exit ramp of our comfort zones. So whenever I sense a struggle, I try to keep that in mind to boost my confidence and adopt a different point of view. Daniel with Miss Kelly “Hotkins” during last year’s Annual Gala Party. 4. How do you imagine your life in five years’ time? By then I’d be 30, I’m sure I’ll need/take any new challenges and experiences at FTIAS. I’ve always been a visual-creative individual so I’d like to get myself into anything artistic. I’d like to learn more about fashion photography, graphic design or illustrations. Travelling is something which helps broaden our minds, so more of that PLEASE! Euge 27 / Company Newsletter / Contributors to Success - Meet Daniel Daniel lost during a random stop in Bratislava.
