A Marketing seminar for restaurants at USFQ Ecuador
On October 14 th 2016, a Marketing conference took place in Universidad San Francisco de Quito( Ecuador). Jesús Gómez Espejel- a specialized Marketing consulter for restaurants- proposed different options that could offer suitable solutions to face hard times in a business adventure. Throughout the seminar, Jesús mentioned some important facts that can raise the level of a restaurant and with it, its sales and reputation. For example, a correct Marketing strategy directed at the perfect time, to the right market, with the appropriate tools, can show an extraordinary change for the business. He also quoted that personal is playing an important role in a restaurant. Refreshing trainings improves the quality of service, and continuous reminders of the essence of hospitality could represent an ideal model of workers. All of these statements surely have one path in common: the costumer’ s satisfaction. It is not just about pleasing new or old guests! The secret relies on giving an exceptional experience for both of them.
Caregiver’ s Formers
In order to train caregivers, the Nutritional department and the Hospitality and Culinary school created a program, which certificates assistants to the elderly in nutritional and culinary fields. Claudio Ianotti- expert in food sanity- developed the first class destined for 35 participants. This innovative project took place last October 19 th in Universidad San Francisco de Quito( Ecuador). During the training, participants learned about the principal sanity techniques. These ones are very important in the elderly caring because of their low immunity system. Throughout the next weeks, the classes will consist of the preparation of healthy rich diets that conserve nutritional levels without losing good flavors. In addition, and given that some elder people need special diets according to their physiological characteristics, particular dishes will be prepared too in the kitchen laboratories of the campus.
