Financial Literacy Skills Well done to our N5 Financial Services students who have started their Personal Finance unit . The Skills for Work course has seen students learning about methods of payment , saving and borrowing and researching some of the different products on the market . Students have been comparing debit cards and credit cards , learning about mortgages and investigating pensions ! They have been making use of the newly released Scottish textbook – Your Money Matters – written by Martin Lewis . Next up they will be learning how to keep a budget and to interpret a payslip . Business Student of the Month
Well done to Jordyn in S6 who was the Business Education student of the Month . Jordyn is motivated and diligent in class and has also shown great community spirit , helping peers and offering to support in S2 classes during free periods
