The Inclusion Ambassadors aim to gain pupil views on how we improve as a school as part of equity and inclusion . We also aim to ensure that every pupil has all that they need to succeed . Our group was launched in September 2021 . We mirror the National
Inclusion Ambassadors . Callum McConnell in S6 is part of the National Inclusion Ambassadors Group . Additionally , we aim to have support boxes in all classes throughout the school .
Inclusion Ambassadors
Pupils will be working with staff to identify actions will be taken to meet the aims to the pledge . Dyslexia Awareness Week will be a very important week for the ambassadors . We will be celebrating this on the 1 st – 7 th November 2021

Practical Woodwork - Picnic Benches
We wanted to pass on a big thank you to our N5 Practical Woodwork students for assembling our new picnic benches .
They demonstrated a lot of skill to finish these benches to such a high standard .
The Inclusion Ambassadors pledge pack will be used . We will adapt this for our own use .

This year Marr College and Ayrshire College have partnered up for a chance to experience learning and teaching from Ayrshire College staff either within our school community or at Ayrshire college campus . The programme covers a wide range of career areas like Care , Hair and Beauty ,

Pupils in S2 / 3 have the choice to nominate themselves for a place on one of the programmes . It takes place on a Friday morning between 9am - 11am and is a great way to learn new skills and find out more about specific areas and jobs . Click on the logo above for more info .

Flu Immunisations
The NHS School Health nurse will be in school on the following dates to carry out Flu Immunisations . Pupil slots will be allocated shortly :

• Friday 26th November
• Monday 29th November
• Friday 17th December ( catch-up date for absentees )
