The next morning George went into the kitchen to fire up the big BBQ plate to cook egg and bacon rolls for the hungry crowd... only to discover that the hot plate did not work, so George was reduced to cooking 30-odd single serves in the only frypan in the place! On the Saturday evening, after more delicious food prepared by Bev, the Rally trophies, made by member-in-waiting, Dan Allen, were awarded. The Oldest Rider trophy went to Ian (from Sydney), the Longest Distance Travelled went to Bruce Walker (also from Sydney), The Youngest Rider trophy went to Dan, the Oldest Bike trophy went to Warwick, and the Hard Luck trophy was accepted by George on behalf of his mate that had ended up in hospital on the way to the Rally! Then the mob divided into two... those watching movies on Rob Wright's mega screen TV, and those keeping the campfire company between rain showers. The Boys from Sydney - Ian, Bruce & Mal. Warwick receives his Oldest Bike trophy. Due to the low numbers it was decided to only raffle off a few of the smaller ticket items and to keep the remainder to raffle off at the Blanket Run and Toy Run. On Sunday morning we packed up, cleaned up, and made our way home... to dry out! Kate. The President takes up 5 star accommodation.
