Beck is " wonderfully equipped " to lead park operations and project management , Rademacher said . He worked for the last 17 years as the park manager for The Parklands of Floyds Fork in Louisville , playing a major role in the development of that park .
" It ' s just exciting for me to see the organization advancing and growing to bring in that kind of leadership because it gets us that much closer to Origin Park being fully built out ," Rademacher said .
As director of park operations , Beck will work on the " nuts and bolts " of the Origin Park project , including daily operations .
" I ' ll do everything from helping with land acquisition , cleaning up the land we already own , working with construction , working with the design team and then problems that arise ," he said .
Schnurbusch said his goals include moving forward with the first two phases of Origin Park . Financing is also a priority as River Heritage Conservancy looks for " new and creative ways to ensure that this project continues to move forward ."
" This will not only just affect the next 10 years or 15 years ," he said . " This is a project that could transform this region for decades to come ."
