1)John Cena
John Cena is an American professional wrestler, rapper, actor, and reality television show host. He is a great role model for children and adults. He is recognized for this work with the Make-A-Wish foundation, where he currently holds the record of the most wishes granted with almost 500. He is Make-A-Wish’s most requested celebrity wish granter. John Cena has been named one of the world’s most charitable athletes in the world in a top 20 list by charity organization, DoSomething.org. Cena came in 2nd place in the “Athletes Gone Good 2015” competition, missing out on the top spot to Real Madrid football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
2)Russel Wilson
An NFL player, Russel Wilson is a super bowl champion and an inspiring Christian. The fact the he is willing to support any charity and help any person in need. It’s fair enough to say that Russel Wilson is a true inspiration in the NFL sports scene. He supports charities such as the why not you foundation.
3) George St Pierre
George St Pierre is a mixed martial arts fighter. He has brought a sense of respect to the sport by not saying anything bad about his opponents. He has also set a good example for young fighters by taking a drugs test whilst training for a fight, showing them that you don’t need to take steroids to achieve. He has set up his own charity called ‘ George St Pierre charity’.
4) Amy Purdy
Amy Purdy is a gold medallist. She is a perfect example of how you can overcome anything no matter the odds. She lost both of her legs (below the knees) due to meningitis. She only had a 2% chance of survival. Fortunately she did survive and learned how to walk again. She also learned how to ski professionally and in the 2014 annual winter Paralympics she took gold. She works with solar aid and the poorest charities.
5) Serena Williams
Serena Williams, a tennis legend, is a perfect role model for anyone all over the world because of her drive and determination which she has used to become an 18-time grand slam winner. She works with the look to the star’s charities which she has supported for many years.
