Department of Periodontics And Implantology
Periodontology is the branch of dentistry that deals with diseases of supporting and investing structures of teeth - gums, cementum, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone. They support the teeth and maintain them in their position in the jaws.
Our Department of Periodontia was blessed to have very highly reputed staff:

In the year 2013, PhD course began for the first time in the Department of Periodontia with Dr. (Mrs.) Jayashree A. Mudda as the PhD guide. One of the PhD student, Dr. Shrikar R. Desai is a recipient of Dr Eugene Schneider scholarship 2016, USA and ASLMS Travel grant 2017, USA.
