Thank You to Our Summer Intern, Lauren Schenck
This summer, we have been joined by intern Lauren Schenck who is currently pursuing a B. A. in Economics and Sustainability with a minor in Political Science at Hanover College.
On campus, she is deeply involved in environmental leadership. She helped pilot Hanover’ s first composting team, serves on the Environmental Stewardship Committee and Sustainability Council, and established and manages the Eco-Reps program, mobilizing students and the campus community to advance sustainable practices.
“ This summer, I am eager to learn more about how parks like Origin Park integrate sustainability into operations, planning, and community engagement. I chose Origin Park because of its bold vision to re-imagine a formerly industrial landscape into a vibrant, ecologically rich public space,” Lauren said at the beginning of this summer.
Thank you, Lauren, for all your help this summer!
