This is a full-time programme that will provide the learner with a broad range of skills to work independently and under supervision in a range of business sectors and contexts , and / or to progress to Further and / or Higher Education and Training .

Entry Requirements : The course is aimed towards individuals who are over 21 years of age , are unemployed and have been getting certain Social Welfare payments for at least 6 months .
N . B . if you have been made unemployed / redundant due to COVID-19 you may be entitled to apply to VTOS .
Progression Options : This course can provide the learner with competencies to progress to QQI Level 6 programmes or Employment . This course provides relevant skills for employment in administrative positions in an organisation . It is also intended to provide the learner with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in the business sector .. On this course there is an emphasis on skills development such as Spreadsheets , Database , Word Processing , etc …
