There are some great thoughts about New York future such as changing it into a green city. Money to buy ecological stuff wont be a problem. Later they will use solar panels all over the country, recycle each time more and takes each time more about the nature.
I think no one can really know what wil New York's future be like, there are many posibillities and New York is an unpredictable city. In my opinion New York wont have economic problems at all and will have a massive grow technologicly transforming into a big modern city but staying with its culture.
U.S.A. is famous for their technological and economic progress, that's why it will be easy to gather up the materials for this project.
