fort. I have a feeling that would’ve
be the case with Adam and just
about any other band as well. He
was just a lovely guy; smart, funny,
and clever. Eventually it became
clear that he was a master of the
pop song too.
Thoughts on Fountains of Wayne
and his other bands & projects
I own most of the FoW records
and played the hell out of them.
I also like the Tinted Windows re-
cord. There’s about a zillion bands
that he produced too where his
influence is indisputable. He was
obviously a massive talent.
After the demise of The Red
House, Adam and I continued to
play together. Tony (Stives) and
I played with Adam and Chris in
a band called “Les Enfants Ter-
ribles” for a while. We wound up
doing one label showcase in NY
and it eventually sort of splintered
apart. After that Adam joined Ivy
and began assembling with Chris
what would become Fountains of
Wayne (and at that time they were
called The Wallflowers). I joined
Brother Eye then as their drum-
