Utilizing the power of cinema for a better world:
Sustainable Living Film Festival
Sustainable Living Film Festival, supported by UNDP Turkey for the third time this year, was held on November 21-24, at Institut Français and Salt Beyoğlu in Istanbul. The festival which has been organized since 2008 with the aim to create a better understanding of the concept of sustainability, raise awareness and invite everyone to take action, screened films from around the world that display a holistic approach to many pressing issues such as climate change, social entrepreneurship, the right to shelter and housing, social transformation, local economy, sustainable forestry, tourism, child labor and slavery, sustainable production, responsible supply chains, peace, ecosystem restoration, ocean permaculture, democratic production and distribution of energy.
