THE JOURNEY OF THE STEPS TAKEN IN THE FIELD OF VOLUNTEERISM
Successful steps have been taken at the "International Volunteers Day" event organized in 2018, on behalf of volunteerism in several areas, particularly legal, after the declaration of 2019 as the Year of Volunteerism. In order to increase the visibility of volunteerism in Turkey, thanks to the
communication and cooperation of the UN Volunteers Programme particularly with the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports and Turkish Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Civil Society Relations, Turkish Human Resources Office, the Presidency of the Council of European Union, the Turkish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, National Volunteering Committee and other institutions and organizations, various efforts have been made to make volunteerism more visible in Turkey.
