“A Revolution in the Car Industry”

Nowadays, the car industry undergoes many innovations every day. All Car companies are
struggling to develop the most efficient, durable and economical car. However, this time it is not
the case. There are a lot of people around the world who are physically challenged, and it is hard
for them to live normally. Unfortunately, several societies view them, especially in the Middle
East, as not fully contributed individuals to the society but rather as a burden. However, Today’s
technology has made their lives much easier and more applicable for physically challenged
individual to live their life normally. It has introduced many activities for them that seemed
impossible perform in the past. For instance, driving is a compelling activity for the sighted
people, millions of people around the world drive to their way to work, and many take it for
granted.
Dennis Hong, an associate professor of engineering at Virginia, along with his colleagues has
accomplished the impossible. The National Federation of the Blind has requested from them to
design a car, however not an ordinary one but rather a car that the blind people could drive.
Obviously, this doesn’t sound as an easy task, they thought of designing a car that can drive the
blind people to their destination. This wasn’t enough. Hong and his team wanted to design a car
for the blind people to drive; they wanted them to experience what does driving mean. Thus they
