Captain:
The Captain shall preside at all meetings
Cast the deciding vote in the event of a tie on any question
Appoint Rules Chairperson, and any other Chairperson deemed necessary.
Prepare and submit a budget to the membership for approval.
Enforce all rules.
Be authorized with the Co-Captain and Treasurer to be one of two signatures necessary to
spend club funds.
Co-Captain/Parlimentarian:
Preside at meetings in Captain’s absence.
Act as hostess at all group events.
Plan and supervise all social events.
Be authorized with Captain and Secretary/Treasurer to be one of two signatures needed to
spend club funds.
Act as Parliamentarian at all meetings.
Tournament Chairperson
Shall have charge of all Tournaments.
Prepare a Schedule of Tournaments for the year with the Executive Board.
Be responsible for all awards.
Appoint Assistant Tournament Chairperson, if needed.
Secretary
Record minutes of all meetings and Board meetings and post on the club bulletin board.
Maintain all correspondence.
Report Club news to Golf News, etc. and maintain a club Newsletter herself or appoint a
designee.
Treasurer
Receive and deposit all monies of the club in authorized checking account with
Bank.
Disburse monies in accordance with the budget and with approval of the club with
concurring signature from at least one of the two other Board Members authorized to
disburse funds.
Prepare a report for each meeting and an annual report at the end of the year and post on the
club bulletin board.
No payments over $50.00 shall be made without prior approval of the Executive Board
Members.
