F R O M T H E D E S I G N E R : “When longtime clients approached me with a desire to build a new home, we created an original semi-
open floor plan based on their priorities. As with their other homes, they requested that a comprehensive fireplace wall make a statement.
The custom grille pattern I designed for the flanking transom windows was then carved into the solid black walnut, creating a one-of-a-
kind mantle. Although apprehensive about the seven-foot height, they trusted my lengthy experience as well as my creative vision. Unique
details incorporated into the ceiling moulding and light fixtures added balanced architectural elements. Finished with a warm inviting
color palette woven throughout their furnishings, they love the end result, as it delivered the sophisticated elegance they were looking for.”
