on the renovation of this Rhode Island home. The client was clear they wanted
the updates to suit their lifestyle and be comfortable and bright for their family to
enjoy. Most of our projects begin with one key element as the starting point — for
this project, it was the hand-knotted rug in the living room. From there, the design
evolved in layers, carefully selecting furnishings and fabrics that would meet the
criteria while acknowledging the home’s rich architectural details. The finished result
was a timeless design for the family to love many years after the reveal.” ◆
