FUNDING LEVELS
Maximum funding levels per grant cycle are determined by the level of neighborhood organization that is applying :
Neighborhood Group Type Any Neighborhood Group with a bank account and EIN ( e . g ., block clubs , neighborhood watch groups , neighborhood associations in formation , neighborhood special interest groups ) Neighborhoods with Active Taxable Entity Status with the State of Texas Comptroller or in partnership with a registered non-pro�it �iscal agent
Maximum Funding Amount
$ 10,000
$ 25,000
Neighborhood groups that are not registered with the State of Texas Comptroller , and thus have inactive status , are only eligible for $ 10,000 in grant funding UNLESS the neighborhood plans to complete the project in conjunction with a state-registered , active non-pro�it organization that will serve as the project ’ s �iscal agent . Please check your neighborhood ’ s ( or non-pro�it partner ’ s ) status here .
GRANT DISBURSEMENTS
For neighborhood groups that are NOT active in the State of Texas Comptroller Taxable Entity database WITHOUT a �iscal agent : Funding will be issued on a reimbursement or pay-direct-invoice method . Neighborhoods will submit documentation of payment or invoiced services to the City , and the City will verify appropriate payment , and pay the invoice ( s ) directly to the requestor or issue a reimbursement check to the neighborhood .
For neighborhood groups that are NOT active in the State of Texas Comptroller Taxable Entity database WITH a �iscal agent : Funding will be issued to the �iscal agent in one lump sum upon complete contract execution between the City , the neighborhood , and the �iscal agent .
For neighborhood groups that ARE active in the State of Texas Comptroller Taxable Entity database : Funding will be issued to the neighborhood in one lump sum upon complete contract execution between the City and the neighborhood .
All grant recipients must submit documentation of payment for all materials and services prior to closing out the grant project , using the Final Closeout Report provided by the Of�ice of Strategic Initiatives .
All grant recipients are required to provide Automatic Clearinghouse ( ACH ) and W-9 forms in order to receive payment from the City .
