Some projects do not have direct access to the gas grid . To solve this problem , AROL ENERGY has developed GRID ACCESS . Dedicated to off-grid projects , GRID ACCESS is designed in a similar way to the EASYCUBE , with all the equipment , including the highpressure compressor , integrated into the container .

Boiler
AROL ENERGY designs and provides , as a separate containerized solution , industrial boilers that integrate seamlessly with our membrane technologybased purification offers . These boilers are adapted to the customer ’ s heat requirements and can be designed to either function with pretreated biogas or use a small part of the produced biomethane .
The main purpose of the boiler is the supply of hot water to the anaerobic digestion heating network . AROL ENERGYs solutions pay particular attention to the synergies and interdependencies that exist on each individual project in order to make the best use of the waste heat that is available within the purification unit . In particular , a non-negligible amount of energy can be recovered on the biogas compression stage at temperature levels directly compatible with the anaerobic digestion heating network . This heat is made available for the client at the boundary of our limit of supply or we can even go as far as assuring the circulation and regulation of the hot water through the
different facilities .
BioCO 2
The global efficiency of a biogas plant , which includes valorizing all valuable products possible , also depends on the use of so-called “ by-products ”. In general , almost all biogas plants only valorize the methane as this is straightforward , while the off-gas is vented into the atmosphere . However , this off-gas is almost pure carbon dioxide and has thus also an economic value . This CO 2 can be easily liquified and subsequently transported to an off-site customer . Depending on customer requirements the CO 2 can be nonfood-grade or adhere to the stringent specifications of the EIGA food-grade EU regulations . An additional environmental advantage of this valorization is the total absence of methane emissions into the atmosphere as the noncondensables that remain ( methane as well as some O 2 and N 2
) are fed back into the gas storage holder . AROL ENERGY , taken into account these considerations , offers turn-key add-on solutions for CO 2 valorization that can be added to the biogas to biomethane purification unit .
