AROL ENERGY is a French company specialized in biogas upgrading . For more than 12 years , AROL ENERGY has been positioned as the second supplier in France ’ s renewable biomethane sector .
AROL ENERGY has put more than 60 units into service in France , predominantly based on the widely used membrane technology principle . In addition , more than 50 are under review by the technical department and will be put into service within two years . AROL ENERGY is active in projects in different sectors : 100 % agricultural anaerobic digestion , agro-industrial waste treatment or sludge digestion in wastewater treatment .
AROL ENERGY supports its customers during the entire project : from the initial study to the final commissioning of the plant . AROL ENERGY has an after-sales service , as well as a team of technicians able to intervene on site for preventive and curative maintenance operations .
What is membrane technology ?
Membrane technology is a separation method that relies on a difference in physical properties (= size ) to achieve the separation between methane and carbon dioxide molecules . After dehumidification , desulfurization , and compression , the biogas passes through permeation membranes which enable this
separation . Two flows are produced :
• The first one , called “ biomethane ”, is composed of more than 98 % of

• The second one , called “ off-gas ”, is mainly composed of carbon dioxide .

AE-COMPACT
This product range is specifically designed for small projects up to 300 Nm 3 / h of raw biogas . The tailor-made industrial chassis reduces the unit ’ s footprint and ensures quick on-site installation . The unit can produce up to 160 Nm ³/ h of biomethane .
EASYCUBE
This product is an evolution of AE- COMPACT . EASYCUBE is a fully preassembled “ Plug & Play ” solution , designed
