Seasight Davits is a Danish company established in 2011 , and since then , the company has been on quite some journey . Especially since 2018 its sale has increased substantially , so in 2019 , in need of a bigger production , the company relocated from Hvide Sande to Ringkøbing , Denmark . And the number of employees started to increase from 3 to more than 50 , which today are located in Denmark , the UK or Taiwan .

Since its establishment , Seasight Davits has won a market share of approximately 42 %. And zooming in on the last six years , the company has become leading by winning 64 % of the market share .
A Global Company from Denmark
Starting in a small town on the Danish West Coast , Seasight Davits has become a strong competitor in the international offshore wind market . From 2019 to 2022 , the company established subsidiaries in the UK , Taiwan , and the US to provide local support and service hubs for spare parts , troubleshooting , and crane maintenance .
In the UK , more than 20 crane technicians are employed covering the European market for commissioning , service and repair . Being established in 2021 , Seasight Davits TW is still in its relatively early stages but a team of six local technicians is already working on the offshore windfarms with support from the UK technicians if needed .
Seasight Davits US has postponed its recruitment due to delays and cancellation in the US projects . However , the company expects to start this process in the near future as it already has sold more than 500 cranes for US projects .
Seasight Davits ’ cranes are designed and produced according to the European standard , EN13852-3 , and are required to be serviced annually .
