The Products – what you need to do.
3x 30 second adverts. This is a minute and a half all together
You will need to have some type of Fitbit device that you can use as part of your campaign. This means you will
either have to have one, borrow one or more or buy one. Don’t go mad on price. You can pick them up cheaply on e-
bay or Amazon.
1) Starting point: You need to think about your BRAND. The brief says you’re targeting teens to young adults.
15-25 year olds. Thinks about what might motivate this age range: image, technology, peers, price and how
you can realistically show this in your adverts.
2) Create a brand name – this is not easy, you need to make it memorable and related to fitness brand or
health as well as think about what the products does. Start by brainstorming some words around health,
fitness and technology, you could technically use the name fitbit, but you would have to redesign logo, font
and slogan
Some examples, could be fitwatch, watchfit, gofit, funkyfit, youfit, getfit.
3)
Create a logo that represents your brand this will be used across all of your products. Save as a jpeg to use
in your adverts, fitness blog – explain why you have chosen this.
