4. What do the Ndipreneur Awards mean to you personally and professionally?
The Ndipreneur Awards are a celebration of purpose and impact. Personally, it’ s incredibly humbling to be recognised for doing work I’ m so passionate about. Professionally, it validates the effort my team and I put into creating a care-first, goal-focused service. It also shines a light on the importance of innovation and relationships in the NDIS sector, encouraging others to challenge the status quo and think bigger about the possibilities for their participants.
6. What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs in the NDIS sector who are just starting out?
Start with your why. This sector isn’ t just about running a business; it’ s about changing lives. When you approach your work with genuine care and a clear vision, the rest will follow. Build relationships with both your participants and industry peers— trust and collaboration are everything. Lastly, be adaptable. The NDIS space evolves quickly, and staying open to growth and learning will ensure you continue meeting the needs of those you support.
5. How has this recognition impacted your business and the way you approach your work?
This recognition has deepened my commitment to the NDIS community. It’ s inspired me to push further and continue being an advocate for change. It has also expanded our network, opening doors for collaboration with like-minded providers. Knowing that our work is being acknowledged motivates our team to stay true to our mission of empowering individuals and driving positive outcomes for people of all abilities.
