Pregnancy is such a fantastic time in a woman's life; full of wonder and intrigue. So many changes are going on for the expectant mother on so many levels, so much fear can come up with the unknown but when it comes down to it, your body and your baby know what to do and how to give birth. When in labour your cervix will soften, and your uterus will contract, so tapping into your natural painkiller using the breath can be one of the best tools you can learn.

Pregnancy Yoga is a great place to come and feel supported by other women going through a similar time to you. Quite often with birthing, fear gets in the way of the beauty of the birthing experience, causing stress and tension. This tension isn't useful while in labour or life really. Learning some breathing techniques can help us to come into a relaxed place. It is so amazing to see women go into class perhaps from work, perhaps from looking after other children, hurrying in looking flustered and rushed and by the end of the session coming out looking so relaxed and happy with a glow to the skin and a relaxed smile on their faces.
