A New Strategic Plan for the Kiawah Conservancy

In 2019 the Board of Trustees for the Conservancy
concluded that it was time to revisit its mission in light of accelerated development over the last 10 years and the expectation that Kiawah will be approaching buildout by 2030 . With great good fortune , the Conservancy once again enlisted the volunteer services of resident Dianne Culhane , who has spent much of her career guiding organizations in the development of strategic plans . A Strategic Plan Committee was formed and began brainstorming sessions in the summer of 2019 both , meeting in person and introducing its members to conference by Zoom .
